Wedding Season Attire Under $100

For me, wedding season has officially come to an end. This season I was invited to attend three different weddings. Obviously I could not decline any invitations because duh! Weddings are my favorite! As an honored guest, I wanted to look incredible for all three events but wedding gowns can get pretty pricey. For me, the key to finding that perfect dress without breaking the bank was time and patience. You CAN find a drop dead gorgeous gown without spending a bundle, but you must search for it. That is exactly what I did! No worries, I will reveal the locations of my shopping secrets to my loyal followers, of course. These three looks were achieved in under $100 dollars each, including accessories! I know, Im pretty darn good. You can be just as good! Check out where I found these bargains in the outfit details! Enjoy and happy wedding season!

Street Chic!

Today’s fashion post features a more casual look. Staying casual does not mean you have to look like a wreck, remember you never know who you’re going to bump into. I like to make it a point to always look presentable, unless Im heading to the gym, then you get a free pass, of course. This look is simple and comfy and still trendy and chic. I paired this adorable leopard fringe crop (currently obsessed with fringe right now) with distressed white boyfriend jeans and a pair of black and gold gladiator sandals. I added a pop of color with my newest MAC lipstick “flat out fabulous” quite appropriate, I think. This ootd is perfect to run errands, grab dinner, or shopping. You can quick change this outfit to become a night time look by just adding some pumps and a clutch. Cheers and happy Thursday, we have almost made it to the weekend!

Pops of Pink!

Today’s style post is a classic spring look. I paired white distressed boyfriend jeans with a chambray top. The OOTD needed a bit of glam so I added a statement necklace and a pop of pink lipstick. I also dressed it up a bit with a pair of blush colored ankle strap pumps, but this can easily be paired with flats or sandals. I would probably go for gold. This ensemble is a perfect example of how accessories and details such as a bright colored lip can make all the difference. I know you’re dying to know the exact lip color I’m wearing so check out the outfit details! Happy Trend Tuesday!

Outfit Details: Chambray Top: Old Navy, Boyfriend Jeans: Old Navy, Pumps: DSW, Necklace: Charming Charlie, Bucket Bag: Old Navy, Lipstick: MAC (Candy Yum-Yum)

Spring has Sprung!

Spring has arrived! Although for Miami, that pretty much means the continuous summer season is in effect. I truly cant complain, I know there are many places up north still experiencing snow. Eeeekk. Here, spring is not signified by fields of tulips unfortunately but we do have the most beautiful bougainvilleas to help us differentiate the season’s. Spring not only means the arrival of breath taking blooms but its time to do a little spring cleaning and update your wardrobe. Which leads me to the outfit of the day! To break in spring, I found the cutest floral maxi with open back detail. This little gem, was found at non other than Target or as I like to call it, Tar-gee’. I paired it with my latest obsession, these gold slip on sandals also from Target. Lets just say I went on a little Target shopping spree and clearly came out winning. Enjoy!

Outfit Details: Maxi Dress: Target, Denim Vest, Old Navy, Gold Slip On Sandals: Target, Necklace: Forever 21, Backpack: Target, Lipstick: Mac (Ravishing Red)

Killin It!

When it comes to my personal style I like to stay on trend but I love to mix it up with looks that I wouldn’t usually pick out. Its always fun to try new things and change up your style. This look was inspired by one of my favorite shows’ of all time, Sons Of Anarchy. In the show Gemma and Wendy are wives or “old lady’s” of several member’s of the motorcycle crew and although they’re usually always in something leather clad or black, they always look bad ass. So I decided to give it a try and I found that I can pull it off pretty well. Not to toot my own horn but “toot toot.” Hope you all like this edgy OOTD as much as I liked wearing it!

Stylish & Casual!

Just because you are dressing casually doesn’t mean you cannot be stylish. Although winter days in Miami are few and far between, once in a while we do get the chance to layer, which I take full advantage of. Today’s look features one of my favorite layering pieces, the military jacket. I paired this jacket with a light ivory henley, a plaid scarf and a statement necklace to add a little glam. Staying trendy while still comfy in jeans and booties. Of course I will reveal all the details of these affordable pieces. Enjoy!

Dressing for the Holidays!

With the holidays in full swing I find myself needing an array of different outfits. Although I would love to just go to a boutique and grab one of each, my bank account says otherwise. I was so excited to find this adorable romper, perfect for any holiday party or outing. Of course I found it at one of my all time favorite places for a good bargain, Marshalls. The fact that you have to search for these little gems is rewarding when you leave paying only $20 for a perfect OOTD. So before you go spend a fortune on the your holiday wardrobe, make sure you check out Marshalls, and TJ Maxx to guarantee you wont break the bank and still look fab for the holidays.

Layers of Luxe!

I was extremely honored to be the host of the, “Layers of Luxe” event for West Elm Dadeland. We had an amazing event, bringing together local bloggers for a private breakfast and introduction to the West Elm holiday collection. We opened the store early exclusively for the bloggers to mingle, shop and of course, do what bloggers do best, take pictures of absolutely everything. We provided the bloggers with a swag box of goodies from West Elm and several other local business in our area. Along with a personalized holiday ornament with our favorite Instagram selfie of each blogger. I had such a wonderful time meeting and chatting with some of Miami’s most stylish. I cant wait to do it again! Here are some pics of the event, and of course, what I wore.

Hello Fall!

Officially saying good bye to summer and hello to fall! As much as I love bright prints and flowy fabrics I must say dressing in layers and hats makes me one very happy girl. When it comes to seasons, Miami can be very one sided so I must pay close attention to the weather to plan my favorite fall outfits accordingly. Sometimes I feel Im living in the wrong city when it comes to fashion but I cant complain, being able to go to the beach in November, kinda rocks too. Kicking off my slow transition into the slightly colder months call for this OOTD, featuring one of my favorite pieces EVER, palazzo pants!!! I snagged these at Pacsun from the Brandy and Melville collection. (I think I may have mentioned how obsessed I am with this collection in my last post.) I styled it with a crochet crop top and denim vest. These are going to be my go to pants this season because well, they look ah maze ing and I can style them in so many ways! So here you go, heres my warm welcome to fall!

Outfit Details: Denim Vest: Old Navy, Top: Marshalls, Hat: Forever 21, Palazzo Pants: Pacsun, Shoes: Old Navy, Crossbody: Charming Charlies

Summertime Saddness

Sadly saying goodbye to summer but not without a final hoorah! Spending as much free time as possible by the pool inspired this swimwear ootd. I found this high waisted, brightly colored, two-piece at non other than forever 21. Adding a fedora and a kimono over your suit is a great way to substitute a cover up and still expose your bathing suit, perfect for any pool or beach party. After searching all over for a solid black kimono, I was lucky enough to find one at Pac Sun from their new Brandy and Melville collection. I am beyond excited that they are now carrying Brandy and Melville, since it is one of my favorite stops everytime I head to NYC. This is one of the amazing pieces I snatched with my Pac Sun giftcard from the Falls Fashion Brunch. Stay tuned for more pieces from this collection and I hope you enjoy this look because I’m a little obsessed with it!
