Classic and Cool.

Today’s post pays homage to more of an everyday look. When it comes to blog posts, I usually like to feature statement pieces or unique styles, but in order for my followers to get to know me,  I really wanted highlight an outfit I would wear on regular day. Whether it be for dinner and a movie or maybe a Sunday fun-day brunch this look definitely gives off more of a classic but effortlessly cool vibe.

If it looks like I just walked out of a GAP ad well Congratulations, I pretty much did. With the exception of some of my accessories, you can find my entire look at a GAP store and let me tell you, I would not think twice about re-buying these pieces again. If I could live in this striped boyfriend button down, I probably would and soon these cropped white jeans will walk all on their own. Although this look takes a more casual take, something about it still makes me feel confident and sexy.  What do you guys think?!

Bring on the Birthday’s!

You’re only as old as you feel, right? So this year, I turned 25 for the fourth time and I think I’ll just keep it going for at least five more years. Im pretty confident I can pull it off. As much as I hate to admit it, I can feel 30 creeping up on me at an accelerated rate and I just want to stop time. If only that was my super power! Anyone know any fountains of youth in the area?

Whelp I guess if you can’t stop it, you have to embrace it! I get the whole experience comes  with age and blah blah blah, but why couldn’t I just be 18 and know what I know now? I mean how easy would that have made my life!? Anyways, Ive decided that 25 ( ahemmmm 29) is gonna be the best year yet!  I have a good hold on my goals and how I can move to make them a reality. With a constant positive outlook and sense of determination, I say bring on the birthday’s I can only go up from here.

To commemorate this, my twenty ninth year, I grabbed some confetti (of course) and balloons and shot this end of summer look. Wearing basically head to toe Kit and Ace, this white kimono and romper are both made of our stretch silk material, which is so light and perfect to get through the last of these hot summer days. I added a fun pastel colored silk neck scarf and my go-to nude nine west lace up sandals. Happy Birthday to me!

Coachella-ella-ella!

Yes…I know this post has been WAY overdue! So sorry guys, trying to find a balance between work, blogging, and life, is still an opportunity. But, I had THE. MOST. AMAZING. time at Coachella just a few weeks ago. Can I just go back right now?! I mean picture it, a carnival in the desert, with tons of musical idols, at all times for three whole days…clearly I was in my happy place. Trying to narrow down what my favorite shows were is a task in itself but I think if I had to, it would be Mike Snow, Purity Ring and Disclosure. So, incredible!

We all know its not about what you did at Coachella, its about what you wore to Coachella! Duh! It takes months to put together just the right looks for those three days. I wanted to incorporate so many different pieces and styles that it required some serious planning, shopping, and exchanging. LOL but I was super content with my three outfits, they were all different but very “Coachella.”‘

Summertime Saddness

Sadly saying goodbye to summer but not without a final hoorah! Spending as much free time as possible by the pool inspired this swimwear ootd. I found this high waisted, brightly colored, two-piece at non other than forever 21. Adding a fedora and a kimono over your suit is a great way to substitute a cover up and still expose your bathing suit, perfect for any pool or beach party. After searching all over for a solid black kimono, I was lucky enough to find one at Pac Sun from their new Brandy and Melville collection. I am beyond excited that they are now carrying Brandy and Melville, since it is one of my favorite stops everytime I head to NYC. This is one of the amazing pieces I snatched with my Pac Sun giftcard from the Falls Fashion Brunch. How to Style your Graphic Tee: Part 2!

My last post featured a casual but oh so fashionable way of styling your graphic tee. In today’s post, using the same graphic tee I’m showing a few quick change tips to have you going from casual to cocktail ready in a flash. In this look, I switched from boyfriend jeans to a fabulous floral print skirt and corresponding accessories of course. Mixing prints by keeping the leopard pumps adds a fun and flirty feel.
